- You must agree to have a Global Positioning System (GPS) installed in your car and leave it on. This is so the company can make sure you really are driving your car. They are not going to wrap your car just to have you stick it in your garage and collect pay.
- You have to drive a certain amount of miles monthly. I think most places say it has to be 800 miles or more. For a busy parent this isn’t unreasonable. That’s only 200 miles weekly, or less than 30 miles a day. If you don’t drive the required number of miles your contract will be terminated.
- You must be open-minded. 90% of the time you are not going to be able to pick your advertiser. You just have to take the gamble and see what happens, so you could end up with a Taco Bell car or a Viagra car. But many places will allow you to refuse to advertise if the ad goes against your moral beliefs – such as containing sexually suggestive ads, alcohol or tobacco ads, etc.

Current Writing SCAM - Beware!
So I was browsing the interent and I found something I really wanted to share with everybody. I know that many of us bloggers are also doing "alternative writing projects" to make an extra buck. Although many companies are legit, there are some that are complete scams. Like I said, I came across this article, it WAS NOT written by me:

The internet company FREELANCE WORK EXCHANGE, based in Brooklyn, NY, has blatantly ripped me off, and after doing some research on the web, various consumer advocate websites note that others have filed consumer complaints against them. If you go to the NY Better Business Bureau it says this about them: "This business recently came to our attention. We are attempting to gather information on the business."
Here's what happened to me...
www.freelanceworkexchange.com offers a trial of their web service for $2.95 for 7 days, with an "easy/no hassle" cancellation policy. I did not find the service of value - in my opinion, there's very little in the way of listings for freelance advertising copywriters. So on the 6th day I tried to cancel, but the website simply does not allow you to do it. When you make an attempt, it keeps sending you to different links, trying to convince you to stay. Finally you end up back on the home page with no way of canceling. It is so obviously set up this way so people get bounced around so much they become frustrated and give in. In my opinion and only my opinion, it is an out and out scam.
I emailed the person in charge of their support department, Matt Corke and told him of the problem. He sent me back an email with the same link to try to cancel. I wrote him back and said that the link didn't work and I needed confirmation from him that I was officially cancelled. The next day I called and a woman named Tracy told me I would definitely be cancelled and no charge would show up on my card. Well, a few days later my VISA debit card was charged $29.95. The problem was that the charge put my account into overdraft and I was charged $30 from my bank on top of the $29.95 charge. I wrote Matt Corke back, but he did not reply. I called the next day and a woman named Stacey promised I'd get a return from Matt but again he did not reply. The next day I called a guy named Robert who gave me the same BS line. Today I emailed Mr. Corke for the last time, notifying that I would contact several consumer agencies if he didn't reply. All I asked for was the courtesy of a simple reply and a refund of my money. Once again, no reply. It is my opinion that this company is committing fraud and needs to be stopped. I have all my emails and all calls logged. People who complained on the various websites have been charged consecutive months and can't stop it. I had to go thru the trouble of canceling my debit card and applying for a new one.
To let you all know, I've notified: The NY Better Business Bureau, The Attorney General's office, the Federal Trade Commission, and VISA's fruad unit.
You might be thinking "All that effort for sixty bucks?" I don't know about you, but freelance writing is a damned tough business and getting ripped off is not something I'm going to stand for. I hope everyone finds this "opinion of mine" helpful.

There's one particular infomercial I have in mind and it features a skinny man in a green suit jumping around yelling about how "The government may owe you thousands of dollars". If you watch the entire half hour show you end up finding out that the company the man works for is trying to sell you a publication that will tell you how "you could collect money from the government".
Now, if you're like me, you're probably thinking, "Yeah right. I am not getting a free penny from the government, and no book is going to make one bit of a difference."
But the truth is, the government may really owe you money AND you DON'T need a book, CD or DVD to tell you how to get your cash.
There's a little-known section of the Treasury called the Unclaimed Property Resources Division. This division is broken down into different sections. The Michigan Department of Treasury has millions of dollars in lost or forgotten assets from dormant bank accounts, uncashed checks, valuables left in safe deposit boxes and stock certificates. What is surprising is that you may think that you have every penny that belongs to you but you might not! I was able to locate $2,000 that belonged to one of my best friends! REALLY!
So lets say that someone does leave money "floating around" out there. What would happen to these earnings is that, by law, they would be turned over by the bank, employer or other person who was the original custodian of the property because it would obviously be illegal for these people to keep your money. The earnings are then given to the Treasury who holds them until they are claimed.
Now, what is very important to know is how to find out if you are owed money and where to look.
Every search you perform will be 100% free of charge. Never pay someone to search for you because it's fast and painless and actually kind of exciting to do it yourself.

Now, what is very important to know is how to find out if you are owed money and where to look.

For each search all you will need is a name. BUT the key to true success is to determine every possible way the name could be written. For example, if your name is Jane Mary Doe, it could be listed in one or more of the following ways:

I think you get the picture. The reason for having so many variations is that the Treasury has no control over how the bank, employer or other source had chosen to list their employees/clients names.

If you are a *Michigan Citizen, or were at one time, you will want to check at the Michigan Treasury
All US Citizens should do a search at MissingMoney.com
There's some other links within these sites that will also allow you to perform searches but these are the main two. If you live in a state besides MI, you may want to do a Google search for your states Unclaimed Property Division, i.e. - "Rhode Island Unclaimed Property Division"
If you do discover you are owed income just use the claim forms located on the sites and claim your money today!

I joined the Joe Bucks affiliate program in 2006 - It is now Tuesday, May 5th 2009 and I am glad to report that...IT SUCKS. The program completely exceeded my expectations for crappiness.
Joe Bucks is loaded with a bunch of herbal trash that you can try to push on your readers. The majority of the stuff they want you to promote is the scammy garbage that nobody is going to buy unless you basically "convince" them to do so.
About March 2007 Joe Bucks canged their name to "MarketHealth" in order to save face...but they quickly got a bad rep as MarketHealth too. If you do brief research on MarketHealth you'll find that they stand accused manipulating their tracking software (AKA: "Screwing users out of comissions they rightfully deserve").

Every time I asked markethealth representatives, they always answer but when I asked them about this, they suddenly disappear. And when users posted threads in the forums asking the same questions, Admin quickly deleted them. WTF? Why would MarketHeath not want to reply to users? Especially those who question their system? The only reason I can come up with is this -
If they officially DENY manipulating softwear then they are busted, there's even bigger fraud. Instead MarketHealth will hide behind their scammy company and try to suck in new affiliates.
A lot of bloggers still promote markethealth.com AKA Joe Bucks because they want you to sign up so they can make $$$$. DON'T FALL FOR IT. There's way to many LEGIT companies out there!

Do you love gaming? Want to make money by writing about your favorite video games If so the CheatCC.com may be a good place for you to earn a few extra bucks while doing what you love. CheatCC (Cheat Code Central) is a website that has cheat codes for almost every game imaginable for Xbox, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, Sony PSP, Xbox 360 and PC games. The only cheats they are not looking for at this time are Game Cube.
You will have the opportunity to work for CheatCC if you are a real gamer, live in the US or Japan (other countries are accepted, but not preferred), own one of the previously mentioned gaming systems and Gamers who are familiar with playing online via Xbox Live, PS2 network adapter and /or broadband PC.
CheatCC pays a whopping $10 for every accepted review after the 15th review. This means that unfortunately you do have to write 15 reviews with absolutely no pay, but for a beginner writer this is a great opportunity to streamline your process and learn the best way to produce a great article.
Once you have submitted your 16th review , you will need to provide CCC with your Social Security Number and they will send out a check for the correct amount you are owed. The process is really simple and checks arrive within 2 weeks.
