Opinion Outpost: Paid Research Panels, Paid Surveys -NO Fees

I came across a new paid survey site called Opinion Outpost. Opinion Outpost is a 100% free to join site that lets you earn points for participating in their research panel/taking surveys. Many of you may already be earning money online by taking paid surveys. I have been a big fan of SurveySavvy for a long time now. However, as you may have discovered, the majority of survey companies will only pay you if you complete the survey. So 50% of the time what will happen is you will get to question 18 of 20 and be asked if you like Merlot, you check the “yes” bubble and you’re booted off the site. All that is on your screen is a “Thanks for your time, you do not fit our criteria” blurb. However, with Opinion Outpost you earn point regardless of completing surveys. This means you have to try to complete the survey, you can just answer the first question then expect to get points. But as long as you do your best to complete it you will be rewarded. Opinion Points are redeemable for cash. 10 Opinion Points = $1.00. In addition, some surveys may offer other payments, such as a sweepstakes or other prizes. Each survey invitation will have details about the Opinion Points possible as well as other reward details. It is not uncommon for a single survey to earn you over $5.00. There is a minimum of $50 to cash out. All payments are made by check.

When a survey is available you will be sent an email. But since Opinion Outpost doesn’t like to send loads of emails, they only send 3 – 5 a month. It is up to you to log into your account and see if any are available. This is nice compared to getting 10 emails a day form companies that are trying to get you to take surveys just so they can sell you stuff.
When you want to cash in your points, simply login to the member's area ('Grand Hotel') using your username and password. There you will be able to see your Opinion Point balance.

If you want to check out Opinion Outpost for yourself, all you need to do is create a free account. You will immediately be sent a verification email and as soon as you click the link you can make a profile and begin taking surveys. Creating a profile is not mandatory but it wil get you 10 times more surveys because they will be able to match you up with companies looking for specifics as opposed to companies who want anybody (which are few and far between)

Opinion Outpost is not with the time it takes to type in their URL. I signed up and tried it a while. First of all, you have to take extensive surveys about yourself and your household to even have access to the surveys. THEN, my experience was that you had to provide free survey info about yourself before the survey starts. THEN, once in the survey, you answer yet another set of survey questions in which, at times I was told, at the end, that the survey was closed because too many people had already taken it. Others, you get to the end, and it says that you are not qualified based on your answers. So the net is, if you want to make $2 a survey, great, but you will have to TAKE many many surveys to find the one that pays. Happy $2 hunting.
