HOW TO Sell STORE RETURN JEWELRY to Make Money

If you’re looking for a crafty way to make money around the holiday season, why not consider “store returns”? Store Return Jewelry is a great way to get your hands on products for as much as 98% off retail value.
A Store Return is when a person brings an item back to the store. The reason for returning the piece could vary. First, it could be broken. Most of the time this is the situation. For example, a necklace is purchased then a chain breaks. The purchaser then brings it back to the store to return or exchange it.
Second, a store return can happen when an item is given as a gift and the recipient simply doesn’t like it. This means the “store return” is in mint condition.
Third, “Store Returns” are often not “store returns” at all. Many times they are “shelf pulls”. Like when Macys puts all their Christmas jewelry out. Come January Macys will mark that jewelry down to 80% off. Come Feburary if it still hasn’t sold it all gets pulled and thrown into a large bin and sold to people as “store returns”.
As you can see, buying “store returns” doesn’t always mean you’re buying broken garbage.
There’s lots of places to purchase store returns…and it’s NOT from the actual store. If you call Macys and ask to buy their store returns the person you talk to will likely have no clue what you’re referring to.
My number one recommendation is to buy off eBay. You will be able to by store returns by the pound or by the piece. A 5lb box of low end returns (Wal Mart, K Mart, etc) should cost you about $25 - $40 (SHIPPING INCLUDED). You will average about 177 resellable pieces per each 5lb box as well as a zip lock baggie full of “scrap”. By saying 177 “resellable pieces” I am referring to the amount of pieces you can resell AFTER you have mended any damaged items – which there will be a LOT.
OR you can buy “high end” store returns – Macys, Van Maur, Parisian, Nordstrom. These boxes will cost you sufficiently more. Expect to pay double and get less pieces. However, a single piece in the box may retail for $100. So if you are able to find 8 pieces that retail for $100 each you have all ready paid for your entire box and made profit. You will have plenty of damaged items in these boxes as well.
Many damaged items are simple fixes. Such as a necklace needs to be reconnected at a chain link or an earring needs a backing. Real, real basic stuff. Literally, a 12 year old can do this stuff.

Other pieces need a little more creativity. For example, I found a killer bracelet that was broken. I needed to find small magnets and make the clasp “magnetic” in order to fix it. Or a stone is missing from a ring but can be replaced easily by buying a bag of stones from the craft store.
I have also has super creative fixes where painting was involved. But many times paint is not needed.
Now, if you don’t want to buy off eBay DO NOT PAY FOR THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION!!! I have seen so many people selling this info that it’s SICKENING!! Here it is, for free…
