Free FOC Background Searches, Marriage Records, Divorce Records

A lot of places offer “free people searches” – and a lot of places try to scam you off them too. I wanted to tell you exactly how this scam works.
These sites prey on people looking to find information on others:

Background Checks
Marriage Records
Property Records
Uncliamed Money
Bankruptcy, Lien and Judgment Records
DUI, DWI’s
Sex Offender Records, etc

You will find literally hundreds of sites online that offer these “free” services. Each site will lure you into believing that they have the information you need by giving you very basic results that consists of the information you already know – the person’s name, age and possibly state. Next, no matter what site you use, you will be asked to click a box for “view report” or “get information”. After clicking you will then be taken to a new site that will require payment for the supposed “records”.

The average cost to obtain these records is going to be about $30 - $60. I decided that this time I am going to conduct the test using myself as a candidate.
I own my home I have resided at my residence for over five years. I also owned my previous home and resided at that residence for roughly the same amount of time. My marriage is registered in Michigan and I also have a registered business PLUS I have a DUI from about 8 or so years ago; so you’d think my name would pop right up, right? I’m not a hard person to find…
Well, here’s what happens;

The cost to get my background check on myself is $10 initially. The $10 fee “locates” me. From what I see, the information appears to be accurate. It shows that I am 28 years old and from Michigan. Ok, cool but this isn’t any “good” info – you can find the same info about me on Twitter, Myspace or Facebook, so that was a waste of $10. However, the site offers “access to a complete report” for another $15. I decide to pay the $15 to get the complete report.

I am now brought to another section of the site that doesn’t have any “complete reports”. It has a ton of links for me to pick from; like which “complete report” I want. I decide to go with the easiest one, my home ownership and assets.

After selecting this tab, the site specifically tells me that records ARE available about all of my assets. I click “get report”…and again, the site asks for another $10. I pay the $10 and I am now brought back to the same page I was on. At this point I am thinking maybe there is an error in the site, so I attempt to redo the search and pay ANOTHER $10… again NOTHING.

Next I try to look up marriage records. Cost: $15. Results: There are none. But how could this be?

At this point I have spent $60 and I still have no more information that I had before I entered the site.

I decide to use a different site. This site costs $20 to get in the door but offers “Unlimited Searches”. I pay the $20 and once again, I am only able to locate the same information as before – that I am 28 and from Michigan. Almost every topic I search under either can’t find results on me or keeps posting the same info I have.
Now I am out $80 FOR NOTHING.

ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW:

I look around the internet and all of the sites that offer this information are all linked together and are using the same two master programs; so no matter which site I use I am still going to end up with the same lack-of-results
So if you want to get results, HERE is how you REALLY get them.
