Let me first say that many records like Background Checks, Marriage Records, Property Records, Unclaimed Money, Bankruptcy, Lien, Judgment Records, DUI, DWI’s, Sex Offender Records, etc, are NOT FREE. You CAN obtain most of these records, but you have to PAY the PROPER resources to do so.

This site is going to give you legal, free info: Full name, age and state maybe address. The addresses that are given out are the same as White Pages results, so you’re not getting anything “sneaky” here.

Think about it – if a person PAYS to have an unpublished phone number (AKA: Pays for PRIVACY), how would the site in question obtain this info? And how would they legally be able to sell it to you?

BACKGROUND CHECKS: If you are looking for Background Checks and other legal information, you need to go to your local police station or the police station in the city which the individual lives. Some places require a subpoena for the information. Others, you will have to pay a fee that may range from $10 to $30. The information the police give you may be done in a variety of ways; you may get a print out, but it will most likely have a lot of information “blocked off” so you can’t view it.

MARRIAGE / DIVORCE RECORDS: These records are held at your county building. You will need to contact them and likely make an appearance to get the information. The records will cost you around $3 per page, which can add up to quite a bit of money depending on how many pages it is.

Bankruptcy, Lien and Judgment Records – This is also “public information” but not 100% “public”. This paperwork contains peoples private phone numbers, addresses, etc, so it is NOT readily available on websites. This information can be obtained online through the state or court website. You may or may not have to pay a fee associated with it.

PROPERTY RECORDS – This information is available for $5 to $10 in your County Clerks office OR the city office in which the property exists; it varies with each county.

DUI’s & DWI’s – as mentioned with Bankruptcy, Lien and Judgment Records; after a court case is closed it becomes “public record” and can be obtained from the district / county clerks office or possible website

Sex Offender Records – This information can be gotten 100% FOR FREE through FamilyWatchDog.Us – this is a great site. First you search using your address. A map will pop up with all the sex offenders plotted to exact location. You will want to hit “Zoom in” about 3 or 4 times to be zoomed all the way to your street. Then you can click on each of the sex offenders and you will get a large photo of them as well as the court judgment. Highly recommended.
